| The occasion was to highlight the Youth in the Environment program
administered by the E.P.A. Windsor Locks W.P.C.F recieved a grant through NEIWPCC to hire Bill Greer an intern from Springfield Technical Community College. Bill has completed his first year at STCC in the Environmental Technology program. |

Part of Bills duties were to help in producing a brochure
detailing the various aspects of work involved in operating a facility. Chuck Conway of NEIWPCC put together a power point presentation that was shown all present. |

This presentation was also used to address the shortage of
qualified operators presently in and entering the field. Many topics were addressed and discussed. Please see the accompanying story. |
